Z-Tree

zTree is a widely used software package for developing and carrying out economic experiments in the lab. It allows the simple programming of normal form games, extensive form games, double auctions, clock auctions, etc. (more info here: https://www.ztree.uzh.ch/en.html).

You can find here the slides used in a tutorial conducted at CELSS in October 2019.

You can visit the support page on zTree website to consult the most recent manual. The mailing list is also a valuable resource to ask questions and share resources with other users.

Nuria Leon (University of Salamanca) created a webinar with a general introduction to zTree.

Experiments coded in zTree can be exported outside of the lab using zTree unleashed, a web portal that allows subjects to participate without additional software.
