zTree and Qualtrics tutorials
CELSS will be running two training courses to help students and faculty get to grips with the primary pieces of software used to run laboratory and online experiments.
zTree is a relatively easy to use program that has been around for several years (more info here: https://www.ztree.uzh.ch/en.html).
Qualtrics offers a simple interface to create online surveys. It is often used with Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) to distribute surveys or simple tasks (non interactive) over a large number of potential participants. The tutorial will cover applications to online surveys using Amazon MTurk (more info here: https://amandapogue.github.io/Qualtrics_Tutorial/samples.html)
- Silvio Ravaioli will run a zTree tutorial on Friday, October 25th, 2.30-5.30pm
- Leo Goldman will run a Qualtrics tutorial on Friday, November 15th, 2.30-5.30pm
Location: CELSS Laboratory, International Affairs Building 505.
